anybody out there?

so.....does any one look at this blog? if so, please comment...i haven't heard from anyone in forever.....

brooke is feeling much better and she's off to school tomorrow. i'm worn out, physcially speaking. i think i could lay down and sleep until sometime next afternoon... (w/o medication! ha/)

the Lord is my helper and enables me to be strong.....in ps. 18 it's described as leaping over a wall. there are times when i know my strength is out...and there i go leaping over a wall that unexpectedly showed up....this is My God. If there was an Olypmic for this....i know i'd win...not speaking in vain here....but speaking only for the helpless state that i'm in and the Helpful Hands that push me over to my feet. this is My God.

Yes, well, I'm out here. I try to read whenever I get the chance to keep up with what's goin on with you, ol' Uncle Billy and the kids. It's one of the better ones I've read actually. However if you want more interactivity (if that's a word) you might be better suited with posting on a forum to get more give and take on the topic of autism. Blogs are a bit insular, I suppose. They're good to vent and get it out there but forums are usually where communities are formed.

I haven't actually spoken to you in a very long time which stinks but I did want to tell you this...Your family is a family full of heroes. You love God and seek Him first. You love each other and that is very evident. your kids love each other. you all just stick together and you make it with a God-given strength and a God-given exhaustion. I admire you all. I have always wanted to be a mom. I love just about everything that goes with it. I cannot imagine being tested to the lengths that you all have been tested and surviving it. I am praying especially for your family. I will keep praying specifically for you until God leads me i a different direction. You're a family full of heroes. All five of you...

I check your blog several times a week. I love to see the progress Brooke is making. I am praying for your family. What a test of faith and what a wonderfully strong and inspiring family you are.

You are an encouragement to a lot of people, i know. i don't have a child with autism, but i get on and i can only imagine what ya'll go through every day and how you feel every second. I must say in hopes i'm not being selfish that the scriptures you use and your writing and pictures are amazing for me. i read something that you've put up and sit and go yeah. some scripture, i've forgotten in my busy life and it calms me or relieves alot that goes on . God knew and knows what he is doing. Your strength and faith and commitment are amazing. So is that of your husband. i'm listening.

Hey Dani, its Mindy from The Learning Tree. I check your blog out too, and now that Mrs. Virginia has a lap top w/ wireless internet, sometimes we check it out together at work. I saved this blog to her favorites so she knows how to get to it easily, but I don't think she knows how to leave comments because this is her first computer ever and she is still learning. We both want to find the time to visit. It would be a nice trip to get away and see lil Brookie again. We talk about it, but hopefully we will put it into action eventually. Thanks for keeping us updated on Brooke through this blog. Its a great way to keep in touch.
